Say hello to The Core Rising practitioners.
We are so grateful you are here. The one thing that bonds us as a team is that we embody the work that we teach, and we always will. We have landed in this space of somatic facilitation because we sought it out ourselves to support our own healing. That embodied experience fuels a passion that cannot be put out.
Know that as you explore this page and get to know who we are, that there is also a lot you don’t see. There are countless hours of dedicated practice, studying and transforming behind these words and photos. And more than anything, we want you to know that you are not alone. Your experience is unique and yet we can relate to how it has made you feel.
We see you, we love you, and we’re excited to hold space for you.Â
Maggie Hayes
Bio: Maggie is a trained somatic practitioner with a focus on nervous system healing and trauma recovery. She guides body-based practice including somatic movement, body work, breathwork and experiential meditation to cultivate a deeper relationship with the Self. She sequences these tools in a way that makes sense for your nervous system to receive and deconstruct conditioning and adaptive behaviors. Her intention is to hold the space for you to create the environment where you naturally evolve from being the person you learned you had to be, into the one you really are.Â
Story: My “healing journey” really began in 2012 - when I was tired of feeling like a mess, and not in control of my life. Throughout the following 10+ years I would shift from a career in media + politics into yoga + somatic healing, unpack repressed memories of childhood trauma, commit deeply to my recovery, and completely change all aspects of my life.. multiple times! Every single step I have taken has brought me into closer, more intimate connection with the Truth, with My Truth, with a deeply rooted sense of safety within myself, with the capacity to fully express and embrace all that I am… and with a burning desire to share this work with the world. Â

Masha Pilipenko
Bio: Masha is a certified Somatic Coach and Breathwork Facilitator. Her sessions weave together various somatic modalities, parts work, inner child healing as well as energy healing and intuitive guidance, and provide space for transformative clarity, deepened self-attunement and an expanded sense of internal safety.
Story: I set out on the path of holistic healing and wellness as the result of facing a profound crisis of meaning a number of years ago. This point of rupture - which turned out to be a life-changing invitation to journey inwards - led me to leave behind a career in the non-profit (together with pretty much my entire life) and devote all my energy to the exploration of my own self through a variety of tools that I am now using to support others in their journeys.
My central belief is that deep down, we always know. We know what we need, what we want, who we are and who we aren’t, what’s aligned, what no longer is and why. Guiding first, myself, and then my clients towards this pure, deeper knowing has become my personal mission and the point of my practice. I believe whole-heartedly that there is no limit to what we can create of our lives and the ways in which we can experience our essence.

Marisela Rosales
Bio:Â Marisela is a Latina holistic psychotherapist, somatic coach, and energy healing practitioner who helps women heal and transform by guiding them to reconnect with the wisdom, clarity, and courage that is found when we come back into our bodies. Through her unique blend of somatics, energy work, cultural and spiritual practices, she creates nurturing spaces where women can heal, embody self-love, remember and (re)claim their identity.
Story:Â My healing journey began with deep dissatisfaction with the traditional practices of the mental health world during a time where my body felt frazzled, my soul felt broken, and I felt a longing to find belonging and a sense of cultural rootedness that had been missing from my life. Little by little I found a new world opening up to me. One where wisdom and medicine was found in nature, plants, traditional ancestral ways of healing, and the body. It was in connection to my body that I finally found the tools to tend to my anxiety, understand the generational trauma that weighed heavy, and find the clarity that comes from being able to listen to your own intuition. These practices helped me see that I had the answers all along and the power to self heal. I deeply believe that we all have the answers and ability to heal ourselves. I see the body as the vessel to get us there and now I get to guide beautiful souls to do just that.

Lianne Blacquiere
Bio: Lianne is a somatic practitioner who helps people process emotions and feelings on a deeper level by working with the body. Her approach, rooted in the nervous system, empowers others to become the experts of their own inner experiences—learning to work with their bodies rather than against them for a more fulfilling life.
For Lianne, life isn’t just about what we experience but how we feel those experiences in our bodies. Sensations—whether joy, sadness, tension, or relaxation—are signs that we are alive. However, when emotions become overwhelming, the body may learn that feeling is unsafe, triggering survival responses like fight, flight, freeze, or shutdown. While these responses are protective, they can also leave us feeling stuck.
Lianne believes healing isn’t about fixing, releasing, or changing emotions but about shifting how we relate to them. By attuning to our sensations and giving them space, we create the conditions for organic transformation.
Her mission is to guide people back to connection—with themselves, their bodies, and life. Healing is not about letting go but about allowing—allowing emotions, movement, and the natural flow of energy. When we learn it is safe to feel, we rediscover clarity, peace, and strength from within.
With over a decade of experience in somatic healing and trauma work, Lianne has trained with leading experts and integrates scientific knowledge, lived experience, and spirituality into her practice. Most importantly, she has done the work herself.
She believes healing happens in connection, not isolation. That’s why her work is not just about providing knowledge and tools but about creating a safe, supportive space where people can heal, grow, and remember who they truly are.
Story: Lianne’s journey into somatic healing began in 2015 when she found herself trapped in the patterns of unresolved trauma and chronic pain. At times, the pain was so intense that she couldn’t walk or even get out of bed. It felt as though her body was speaking to her, demanding attention in ways she could no longer ignore.Â
Determined to find a way forward, she turned to somatic trauma healing, diving deep into suppressed memories and dedicating herself to the process of recovery. Through this work, she not only healed her chronic pain but also reclaimed her autonomy, learning to trust her body rather than fight against it.
This journey continues to shape her work today, inspiring her to guide others in reconnecting with their own bodies, emotions, and inner wisdom—helping them move from survival to a place of wholeness and empowerment.
